Premise

The best prevention against sexual assault is awareness.

Through sexual assault prevention programs, we can work together to change attitudes towards sexual assault and towards survivors. As a result, incidents of sexual assault will decrease.

Goal

Our goal is to prevent the perpetuation of stereotypes surrounding sexual assault and to change those attitudes, which are based on myth, through education and activities which promote awareness.

Objectives

  • To provide the community with factual information regarding the realities of sexual assault.
  • To develop awareness of the legal, social, political, and medical aspects related to sexual assault.
  • To sensitize the community to the long-range emotional and psychological repercussions, which may affect sexual assault survivors.
  • To develop, implement, and deliver age-specific curriculums designed to increase awareness.
